- 16 Fancy registered Brangus heifers medium to long bred to registered low birth weight Brangus bulls. Heifers are big, stout and gentle. Papers will be available on sale day and transferred at buyer’s expense.(161)
- 25 Brangus, black white face and Black F-1 cows coming with their second and third calves out of Brangus bulls. They are all medium to long bred and will be sorted into uniform groups. (162)
The seller and buyer of the top-selling females will receive trophies. Also, a pair of boots will be awarded in a drawing to a consignor and a buyer in the sale donated by Capital Farm Credit and Harry’s.
The American Brahman Breeders Association began their “Brahman Bucks” Program this fall at six (6) of the larger and most influential replacement female sales including Jordan Cattle Auction that features Brahman influence females. At present, the ABBA will offer $300, $200, and $100 added money to the top three Brahman F1 female lots, regardless of whether they are open, bred, pairs or 3n1’s.
